- Visual Art-2D:
Henna painting, traditionally done on the hands and feet, utilizing design elements from east and west. Distinctive and elegant henna for any occasion. Henna, or Mehndi, is a beautiful temporary body decoration that brings happiness and good fortune. I make all of my own henna paste, using a traditional recipe free of chemicals and artificial dyes.
- Instruction:
One day workshops, designed to give a complete introduction to henna application and design construction. Suitable for all ages.
- Visual Art-2D:
Naturalistic landscape paintings in oil and abstract art with Henna and Gold Leaf. Landscape paintings are done "en plein air" in and around Orange County, focusing on creating an accurate representation of nature, with a feeling of depth and "place". The abstract Henna paintings are explorations of gesture, and have a slight Eastern flavor. Very dynamic as an accent to modern decor.
